Over the past two decades Galway Airport has blossomed from a small air strip to a fully fleged regional airport. The Airport now boasts daily services to Dublin, Luton, Manchester, Edinburgh and Lorient. Airport facilities include the "AV8" café and free WiFi (wireless internet) access. There is no bus service to the airport, but taxis are readily available any time day or night (the fare to the city centre is about EUR 15). Car hire is also available.
