Our Bedrooms are tastefully designed to give an atmosphere of relaxation and luxury with en-suite bathrooms accompanying all of the rooms. All bedrooms are equipped with all modern conveniences.

We have 25 bedrooms which include:

Connemara's longest established hotel, situated in the picturesque town of Clifden, has been owned and managed by the Foyle family for nearly a century.

This impressive building, which has played host to many famous personalities over the years, has recently been redesigned to the highest modern standards, yet retains much of its old charm and atmosphere.


Foyles Hotel is the ideal central point from which to explore Connemara and enjoy the many amenities it has to offer. The 18-hole championship golf course is 15 minutes drive from the hotel, with a beautiful sandy beach running alongside the course. Deep sea fishing is available from Clifden Harbour and arrangements can be made for fresh water fishing and also for horse riding.

Breakfast is served from 8.30am until 10.00am daily in the Hotel Dining room.
Dinner is served from 6.00pm until 9.30pm daily in the Marconi Restaurant.

The Hotel Bar is called "Mullarkeys". It opens at 6.00pm each evening. Bands play most Weekends.

Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation, there is no cancellation charge provided that we have 48 hour notice. Otherwise 50% cancellation charge applies. The booking deposit at the time of booking is not refundable at any time. 
Children And Extra Bed
Children under 2 are free. There is a nominal charge for children under the age of 8. 8 - 16 year old are charged at 50% of Adult Rate.
